Adding PUP
exclusions via ePO 4.0
1) Determine
the name of the PUP you wish to exclude (this can not be done in ePO).Use a local VSE console to locate the
name.You can also refer to detection
logs, the McAfee VIL, or other resources.
2) Click
the Systems button/widget in the top navigation bar
3) Click
the Policies tab
4) Choose
the product you wish to configure via the Product pop-up menu
5) Click
the Policy Name for the Unwanted
Programs policy
6) Specify
the detection names to exclude.You can
click the Plus button to add more than 1.
7) Save
via the Save button.
