Description
SQL Server is an industry-standard database server developed by Microsoft. A vulnerability in Microsoft SQL Server may allow for local privilege-escalation attacks. The vulnerability is a buffer overflow caused by improper handling of data structures on disk files. A malicious local user who is authenticated could exploit the vulnerability to take full control of the system.
