SQL Server is an industry-standard database server developed by Microsoft. A vulnerability in Microsoft SQL Server may allow for local privilege-escalation attacks. The vulnerability is a stack overflow in the convert() function. A malicious, authenticated local user could abuse this function to gain elevated privileges and access sensitive information.
