Description

Office is an industry-standard productivity suite developed by Microsoft. A vulnerability in Microsoft Office may allow for remote code-execution attacks. A specially crafted Excel file could trigger a buffer overflow due to improper parsing of cells in a spreadsheet. A user would have to open a malicious Excel file or visit a Web site hosting such a file for an attack to occur.
