Network connections are made to the following domain:

  • popunder.adsrevenue.net

The script is coded in Javascript and attempts to bypass Norton security popup blocker using specific codes.

 

Symptoms

  • Presence of unwanted advertisements pop up in browser window
  • Unexpected network connections to the previously mentioned domain

Method of Infection

The script exists on websites that are accessed by users.
