See http://vil.nai.com/vil/pups/configuration.htm for information about how to enable, disable, and exclude detection of legitimately installed programs.

This is not a virus or a trojan. It is detected as a "potentially unwanted program."  Detection was added to cover protection against a file called "kp.exe ", having a filesize of 16.384 bytes decimal.

The file can be used to kill processes. This can be done for legitimate reasons but the above file was found in a trojan multidropper package where its main function is to kill processes (from for example firewall and av software) or other system settings.

The file originates from "SoftTree Technologies".
