Overview

This is a trojan detection. Unlike viruses, trojans do not self-replicate. They are spread manually, often under the premise that they are beneficial or wanted. The most common installation methods involve system or security exploitation, and unsuspecting users manually executing unknown programs. The New Malware.j detection intentionally does not contain repair, as files detected under this name could do any number of this.  Samples detected as "New Malware.j" should be submitted to AVERT so that they can be properly classified and have proper repair added to the DAT files.
