Characteristics

This is a detection for an application which causes a huge CPU load. It is not a virus or trojan, but is classified as a "potentially unwanted program" and may be detected accordingly with VirusScan 7 when scanning for potentially unwanted programs.

After execution the application displays the following dialog:



When the user presses the "OK" button the application starts, causing a very high CPU load. After this, the system reacts very slowly and may become unstable.
It does not add, remove or modify any Registry keys.
