Characteristics

This is a spyware application. It is not a virus or trojan, but is classified as a "potentially unwanted program" and may be detected accordingly with VirusScan 7 when scanning for potentially unwanted programs.

The keylogger is designed to monitor system use. When run with the appropriate command-line switch, a configuration Window allows for the user to configure the log file path, email preferences, password, etc.

When run with the appropriate command-line switch, typed keystrokes are saved to an encrypted log file. The program has an option to email this log file to the configured email address at a regular interval. Additionally the program attempts to run hidden hiding itself from the tasklist on Windows 9x/ME.
