Microsoft Windows is an industry standard operating system. A vulnerability is present in Microsoft Windows that may allow for remote code execution. The flaw lies in processing of maliciously-crafted filename parameters in EMF files by Microsoft Graphics Device Interface (GDI). Successful exploitation would allow code execution at the rights level of the victim.
